Communication
Communication can be defined as the process whereby ideas,
information and messages are shared with others at a particular time and place through a common system of symbols. The range of entities that communicate includes humans, animals and - to a limited extent - machines.
Whereas other animals exchange messages using a limited range of sounds, body movements or olfactory signals, humans have developed complex systems of conventional spoken or written symbols as their primary means of communication. These systems are called languages.
